Egg Hunt

Our Easter egg hunt was pretty interesting this year with all of the snow!
Wherever the Easter bunny hid an egg it left a pool of color...like a snow cone. :)

Jason started a snowball fight with Josh.... don't hit Claire!

It's always been a tradition in my family to have an "egg war". Two people each choose

an egg and then after counting to 3 they smash the eggs together at the tip. The egg left unsmashed is the winner! The game continues until there is only the winning egg left. Here Josh is learning the ropes...he ended up winning the entire contest - a natural!

Dyeing Easter Eggs

Here we are dyeing our Easter eggs the night before easter. We stripped Josh down to his undies to save his clothes. His hands were looked like a tie-dye t-shirt for a week and a half after! :) He loved the egg holder ... mostly to pinch his nose with!

I guess it's just easier to use your hands.

And Claire was so sweet hugging her little bunny!

Aliens!

Josh and daddy had aliens inside of them! It took Josh some time to master this skill, but he will appreciate it later in life.

St. Patty's Day!

We had a lot of fun with this green hat on St. Patrick's Day. Josh wore it all day long everywhere we went! He was pretty excited to wear it, and to wear green all day long!

Rice Cereal... Yummy!

We gave Claire rice cereal for the first time on sunday March 9th, just 1 day before her 6 month birthday! She has been watching us very attentively while we eat our food for the past month or so, and we thought she would love it, but she wasn't so sure about it after her first bite! She made a face after every bite, but is now starting to like it a little more. These are a few pictures we took during the momentous first feeding.

She was all ready in her bib and everything, sitting in her bouncer....

Josh was really excited and fed her some of her first bites!
